Exuberant fruity red wine. Intense ruby red with solid tears. Lush fruity nose full of black berries and Mediterranean herbs with a hint of vanilla. Powerful attack, yet with elegant texture and subdued alcohol. Lots of ripe fruit on the finish. At its best with pink meat such as natural prepared lamb, veal and pigeon, roasted in its own gravy. Goes also well with pasta with tomato sauce and mature white cheeses.
