2019 Mülheimer Sonnenlay Riesling Alte Reben Feinherb is intensely aromatic yet pure, delicate, fresh, and coolish on the spicy and flinty nose that reveals fascinating fruit aromas and excellent terroir expression. On the palate, this is an intense, rich, and sweet yet finessed, highly complex, and concentrated as well as piquant and tensioned Sonnenlay grand cru with power, grip, and pure terroir expression. It ends with lingering salinity, concise and crystalline acidity, and mineral tension.
