Tasting Notes
Today’s wine is a monovarietal (100% Aglianico) fermented in stainless steel and aged in seasoned oak so that its lush, ripe fruit characters take center stage on the palate. Aromas of violets, blackberries, plums, and herbs lead to an inky, ripe palate resplendent with black cherries, cassis, and black currants layered with baking spices and herbs. The tannins are pliant and the acidity is juicy, giving it a texture that is smooth yet well-structured.
