The 2023 B. Kosuge Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is currently in a restrained phase—lean in body, with a taut structure and a slightly tannic bite. Aromatically it promises perfume and elegance, and there’s a sense it will open and blossom over time, growing more floral, nuanced and graceful just as the 2006 and 2013 vintages did.
