Heimat New York is a distillery located just outside of New York City specialized in crafting award-winning liqueurs. In partnership with New York’s finest farms, Heimat sources fresh seasonal fruit and flowers for their handcrafted, small-batch liqueurs. Remaining authentic to nearly 100 years of German family tradition, only three ingredients are used to craft the liqueurs: whole fruit/flowers, whey-based spirit distilled in upstate New York, and organic cane sugar. There are never any additives, colors, preservatives, or flavorings used. Heimat produces seasonally just once a year, allowing their team to capture the full essence of the fruit/flowers in the bottle at peak season.
Founder Ute Londrigan experimented with her family recipes over the years, but it was her move from Germany to New York—with its network of small, tight-knit family farms and orchards—that brought her vision of capturing the flavor and memory of her home (all-encompassing words for “Heimat”) to fruition. She believes in the true versatility of liqueur and its endless opportunities: it can be enjoyed neat or with seltzer; with Champagne or Prosecco; or in a wide variety of cocktails.
Every bottle of Heimat includes a QR code that links to a list of custom cocktail recipes that showcase the pure flavors of each fruit and flower.
