Tasting Notes

The 2020 Magician Riesling is from the Ancient Lakes AVA, located on the cliffs high above the Columbia River near George, WA. 2020 provided ample heat during the summer to ripen the Riesling from this area. The cool nights helped to maintain the acidity and floral notes in the wine. This Riesling has just a touch of residual sugar (about 5 g/L). It shows bright, crisp, and juicy notes of tree fruits like green apples and pears, with some peach blossom notes as well. There is a mouth watering minerality, along with the fresh citrus notes on the finish. The subtle sweetness balanced by the racy acids make this the perfect pairing with spicy foods like Thai, Indian, and even BBQ! Enjoy with your friends and family
