The Perchance Estates Chardonnay highlights the elegance that comes from meticulous winemaking and an exceptional vineyard source, crafted from 100% Chardonnay grown at Beckstoffer Carneros Lake Vineyard under the direction of acclaimed winemaker Mike Smith. The wine shows a bright golden hue and opens with layered aromas of crisp apple, ripe pear, citrus, white peach, and a subtle touch of honey, offering both freshness and depth. On the palate, it is refined and balanced, with vibrant green apple and citrus complemented by gentle tropical notes, while fourteen months in new Burgundian oak adds polished layers of toasted oak, vanilla, and spice. The finish is long, smooth, and composed, delivering a wine that is both expressive now and structured to develop additional complexity with time in the cellar.
