Tasting Notes

The second wine of the estate, Tour de Capet is a vineyard selection coming a unique subset of sandy soils adjacent to the Château at the foot of the southern end of the St. Émilion plateau.

In addition to site selection, the other key difference comes in the form of élevage.  While the wine is matured in classic barrique, new wood here is reduced to 40%, 30% one-year old barrels, 30% two-year old barrels.
