Crafted entirely from Sangiovese grapes and aged for four months in large, old oak barrels, the Rosso di Montalcino boasts a deep ruby color in the glass. Intense aromas of black cherry, ripe raspberry, and flowers intermingle with a hint of earth, creating an alluring bouquet. On the palate, the wine’s fresh and energized character is complemented by a perfect balance of tangy fruit and soft, ripe tannins. This Rosso di Montalcino pairs exceptionally well with grilled game birds and mixed mushrooms.
