Soliste Pinot Noir Foret Sonoma Coast 2014 (750ml/12)
Tasting Notes
This wine exhibits stunning depth and clarity with a deep ruby density, offering an extremely unctuous and refined experience. On the nose, it reveals opulent aromas of sweet caramelized wild cherries, plums, and forest floor interwoven with fennel, dusty rose petals, espresso, and cocoa notes. With aeration, the aromatics become more focused and herbal, featuring dark cherry compote with anise accents, delivering a superbly elegant and powerful profile with hints of bitter chocolate and redwood needles. The palate offers a decadent burst of blackberry and pomegranate compote laced with bitter caramel, accompanied by layers of stewed blueberries, coriander, cardamom, and black tea, leading to a structured, perfumed, and earthy mid-palate with velvety tannins. The wine finishes with bright natural acidity, leaving a focused, long-lasting impression of tart raspberries.
