About Mamete Prevostini
After three years of regularly tasting this winery at Vinitaly, we were finally able to persuade Mamete Prevostini to join Massanois. The Prevostini family have been producing wine on the terraced slopes of Valtellina since the mid-1940s. The family had long owned an historic restaurant in Sondrio at the gateway to the Valtellina in far northern Italy, in the foothills of the Dolomites in Lombardy, for which they made some house wines from the local Nebbiolo (here called Chiavennasca) and reserve ...

Ruby red color with light garnet shades. Intense and fine bouquet with hints of cherry, hazelnut and red berries. Harmonious velvety taste but strong at the same time. Serve medium structured and basic dishes with meat and cheese bases.
