Chateau d’Aussieres Corbieres Rouge
About Aussières
Aussières wines are the result of millenary soils, centuries-old winemaking traditions, and a resilient commitment to pursuing a sustainable path, borrowing from ancient knowledge to prepare for the future. The wines are the fruit of a contrasted land, and as such, they offer a wide range of styles, from naturally generous, too powerful in an elegant manner or pure and spontaneous when carbonic maceration is involved.

Beautiful dark colour with glints of black. The nose is still closed, confirming the wine’s youth. Relatively
understated attack, quickly developing volume on the palate, with notes of black fruit and spices. The
tremendous richness of the Mourvèdre combined with the balance of the Syrah and the finesse of the
Grenache gives this wine a very elegant tannic structure. Well-integrated notes from the barrel ageing mingle
harmoniously in the long, lingering finish.
