Chateau d’Aussieres “A” Pays d’Oc Rouge
About Aussières
Aussières wines are the result of millenary soils, centuries-old winemaking traditions, and a resilient commitment to pursuing a sustainable path, borrowing from ancient knowledge to prepare for the future. The wines are the fruit of a contrasted land, and as such, they offer a wide range of styles, from naturally generous, too powerful in an elegant manner or pure and spontaneous when carbonic maceration is involved.
Available Markets: New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois, Virginia, Washington, DCTasting Notes
The palate is very pleasant, characterized by balance and harmony. Soft, elegant tannins coat flavors of Mediterranean cuisine (piquillo peppers stuffed with tapenade, fig jam, etc.), accompanied by notes of smoked tea and cigar. A wine with a multi-faceted character, Aussières Rouge can be consumed on almost any occasion and be paired with a very wide variety of foods.
