We normally don’t look this bad. It was cold that day. We were tired. It was the best one we took and it has taken a good amount of work to get this company started so maybe we do always look this bad. Who knows. What we do know is cocktails. Having worked in some of the best bar programs in New York City, learning from handfuls of the greatest talent in the industry, and having the good fortune of taking the unfortunate circumstances the pandemic provided, Hugo’s Cocktails™ was born.
When restaurants throughout New York and the rest of the world were forced to close in 2020, Cristian lost his job and began making drinks to sell to his friends to help support his family. They were becoming so popular while everyone was stuck inside their homes that he thought it might make sense to give it a go as a legitimate business. Two years later, working from recipes we had honed throughout our years working behind the bar, Hugo’s Cocktails™ became a reality. We’re not people to say we had tried other canned cocktails and there just weren’t any good ones out there so we decided to make them ourselves. There are good ones out there. There are plenty of bad ones. We offer ours: fresh, vibrant cocktails that can truly be enjoyed out of a can. That was the goal and we are proud of what we hope people from all walks of life will enjoy time and again.
