Approximately 1750 meters above sea level, on Armenia’s southwestern border, lies Khachik, a rural community just over one thousand villagers, home to panoramic mountainscapes and the highest elevation vineyards in the Northern Hemishphere to produce méthode traditionnelle.
Grapes are sourced from this village,situated in the Vayots Dzor province in Armenia. The vineyards are un-grafted and range from 60- 100-years-old.
These are some of the highest elevation vineyards in the world, and at 1750m, the highest elevation vineyards in the Northern Hemisphere that produce Keush Méthode Traditionnelle.
