Domaine Chicotot

About the Winery

Domaine Chicotot is a family estate which has been in the center of Nuits-St-Georges for 12 generations. Over 18 acres of vineyards, Clément, Pascale and Georges produce artisanally and organically with little intervention in the cellar.  Their bottlings include Bourgogne Rouge, Ladoix village and several cuvées of Nuits-St-Georges Villages (Aux Allots, Les Charmottes, Plants au Baron, Vieilles Vignes) and Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru (Les Rues de Chaux, Les Pruliers, Aux Toreys, Les Vaucrains and Les Saint Georges).  All wines are aged at least two years in the cellar and six months in bottle before release.

Winemaker Pascale Chicotot is originally from Alsace; a banker by trade, she met Georges at the estate during a trip with her clients in the early 1990s.  Georges and Pascale eventually married and started to make wine together in 1996.  After her husband’s retirement in 2008, Pascale took over as winemaker and manager of Domaine Chicotot.
