CARM represents Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira, a collective of six properties in the Douro Superior, owned and operated by the Roboredo Madeira family. With 90 hectares of vineyards, as well as olive oil and almond groves, the family produces a range of exceptional products.
Located exclusively in the rugged and remote Douro Superior, near the Spanish border, the vineyards benefit from a warm and dry climate, resulting in wines that perfectly capture the untamed nature of the terrain. During our tasting with João Paulo Roboredo, a family member and marketing expert, we were impressed by the range’s recent revamp. The new packaging is stylish and modern, reflecting the quality of the wines.
Notably, the range now includes a wine made without added sulfur dioxide. This Touriga Nacional is a bold and unique expression of the varietal, with a distinctive personality that showcases the family’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
