Wine Advocate"A large-scale Barolo with broad shoulders and a deep footprint. The wine opens carefully to dark fruit, spice, leather and moist chewing tobacco. The aromas are savory, penetrating and thick. Vinous Media"The 2013 Barolo Mariondino is a real overachiever in this vintage. Succulent red cherry, dark stone fruit and floral notes are beautifully delineated throughout. Creamy, voluptuous and yet also nuanced, the Mariondino captures the essence of the Parusso house style." - Antonio Galloni
James Suckling"Exotic aromas of dried fruits with tangerine, berry and earth. Some mushroom. Full body and chewy tannins. Beautiful big wine. Give it three or four years to soften. Unique profile to this."
