Branchini Pignoletto 2014 (750ml/12)
The Emilia Romagna region is actually two regions in one: the low plains of Emilia, north of the city of Bologna, where sparkling Lambrusco is king, and the verdant, rolling hills of Romagna, south of Bologna, which produce Italy’s great variety of stone fruits, including cherries, peaches and plums. Two types of wineries can be found in this area: huge mass-production wineries, usually cooperatives, and small artisanal producers that tend to line the hills closer to the Apennine Mountains. ...New York, New Jersey
