Very intense and complex, with soft fruity notes of black cherry and cherry, together with intense and pleasant spicy scents, particularly of tobacco, cocoa and black pepper mingled with agreable balsamic and mineral notes.
Wine Spectator"A savory example, featuring tobacco, earth, wild herb and underbrush notes enveloping a core of fading cherry. Balanced and finishing dry, with tobacco and iron accents lingering. Settling in nicely, with a few years more to go. Drink now through 2023. 1,250 cases made." –BS, November 2017
